So… you’ve booked your appointment.

Now what?

Preparing for Your Hypnotherapy Session

The most important thing to remember is to trust the process and come as open as possible. Come exactly as you are. There are many suggestions out there about how to prepare for a session, and I’ll share some of them below, but you don’t need to change your entire routine or alter your being to make this work. Simply pick and choose what feels right for you. In my experience, a truly successful session comes from understanding what we’re about to do together, so I encourage you to arrive curious, with any questions or concerns ready to be explored.

Tuning Your Mind

• Imagination as practice: Spend a few minutes each day letting your imagination wander Imagine your dream life with extreme detail, start visualizing the ideal you that you would like to step into. This can prime your subconscious for deep transformational work.
• Awareness and presence: Begin observing your inner world more diligently. Notice your thoughts, emotions, and patterns as they arise. Slow down, practice mindfulness, and return to the present moment often.
• Breath and coherence: Try guided meditations or practice mind–heart coherence breathwork. Focus on your heart, breathe deeply and evenly, and visualize a golden cord of energy connecting head and heart. We will also practice this together at the start of your session.

Supporting Your Body and Spirit

• Grounding practices: Take mindful walks, breathe fresh air, or spend time in nature. Even a few moments outside can help center you.
• Food and hydration: Some people prefer light, nourishing foods and skipping caffeine, while others feel best keeping their normal routine. Listen to yourself. The goal is to arrive comfortable, not deprived.
• Intention setting: Journaling, meditation, or dream journaling can help clarify what you would like to receive.
• Spiritual connection: In the days before a session, it is not uncommon to notice synchronicities, heightened energy, or even small disturbances with electronics. See these as gentle signs that your subconscious is preparing.

Setting Your Space for an Online Zoom Session

Choose a position where you feel relaxed but not lying completely flat. A stable internet connection, a working camera, and clear audio are important for an easy flow. Headphones can make the experience more immersive, but they are not required. Aim for a quiet environment and use your discretion about windows if you live in a high-traffic area, it may help to close them to reduce outside noise. Make sure pets are put away or being cared for so they don’t interrupt the process, as animals are often drawn to energy work and may want to be part of it. Wear loose, comfortable clothes that allow you to relax fully.

A Personal Note From Juda

Thank you so much for booking your session. I am truly looking forward to our pre-interview time together. This part of the process is just as important as the session itself it is where I will share my approach, answer any questions, and help clear up common misconceptions about hypnosis.

In fact, I often say that before we begin, I have to de-hypnotize my clients from cultural myths about hypnosis. Once those fall away, the process becomes simple, natural, and deeply powerful.

So come ready to learn a little, be curious, and slip into student mode. Once you feel comfortable and clear about what hypnosis really is, all that is left is to sit back, relax, and discover the healing power of your own mind. You will leave knowing yourself in ways you may never have before and I cannot wait to guide you through that journey.

After Your Session

Your subconscious may release energy in many ways. You might feel light-headed, tired, energized, emotional, or notice shifts in your body. This is normal and always in your highest good. Allow yourself time to integrate by resting, walking, or writing down what you experienced. You will also receive a follow-up email with a link to leave a review, should you wish to share your reflections.

Please note that a strong and stable internet connection is necessary for online Hypnotherapy sessions. It is recommended that you use a computer or laptop with a stable internet connection for the best experience. Mobile phones or tablets are not recommended (Incoming phone calls and messages can greatly interrupt the sessions flow or even the internet connection) for online hypnotherapy sessions. Additionally, Noise canceling headphones that go over your ears are highly recommended however anything will suffice.
