Mastering Self-Hypnosis: How I Work With My Inner Parts to Transform Fear Into Confidence
As I prepare for the upcoming Mastering Self-Hypnosis free 90-minute Zoom event, I’ve noticed myself moving through waves of fear and excitement. Old me might have felt paralyzed by that fear, but now it feels more like a signal something to observe, acknowledge, and then reassign into a healthier role.
That’s the essence of the work I do with parts therapy. We all have “parts” that step forward to protect us, often in ways that don’t serve us long-term. For me right now, there’s a protective part that’s urging me to rest, to save my energy for starting a new job next week. There’s also a part that wants to hold me back from the abundant life I see for myself as a thriving hypnotherapist. Instead of fighting them, I work with them. I listen. I acknowledge the stories they’re repeating. And then I guide them into a new role one that supports my confidence and future goals rather than clinging to fear.
This is the same process I use with clients. Together, we identify the parts that keep looping old stories, we recognize their purpose, and then we neutralize the fear so it no longer runs the show. When fear isn’t driving, confidence has room to expand.
So as I step into this event, I feel the parts of me shifting. Fear is still there, but it no longer controls me. Excitement is rising, because I know I get to share with others how easy it can be to slow down, tune into your subconscious, and give your inner voices better jobs to do. That’s how we move from being stuck in old patterns to creating new ones that actually serve the lives we want to live.
And that’s why I’m really looking forward to hosting this event. I can’t wait to see who joins me and thank you to everyone who’s already signed up.
